The asset, region or city scored in LocationHealth evaluates the physical climate and/or environmental situation of the respective area. The different climate risks (flood, heat etc.) are the basis for further adaptation and resilience interventions or indicators of habitability.
The scoring takes into account both major and minor factors, and the different risk and suitability scores are constantly extended and improved in precision. This allows to analyze the climate and environmental situation for asset managers, investors, home owners and tenants.
Ultimately, the goal of LocationHealth is to link climate analytics to climate adaptation products and services provided on its marketplace.

What means an overall score of 2.8, how to interpret this figure? The climate / habitability metrics is currently as follows:
Represents a highly suitable land region or asset environment that has no significant limitations or only has a minor limitations regarding the indicated climate or environmental factors to sustain a given land utilization.
Represents moderately suitable land regions that have some limitations that in the aggregate are moderately severe for sustained application of the given land utilization type. The limitations may set an asset at climate risk or may harm human health and habitation, although they can still be attractive.
Represents marginally suitable land regions or asset environments that have limitations which in the aggregate are severe for sustained application of the given land utilization type and will harm the asset or human health and any expenditure will only be marginally justified.
A score between 0.1 and 1.0 means an unsuitable asset, region or city with a potentially high climate risk or environmental exposure.
The flood score and other criteria evaluate the risk of flooding(and other environmental factors) in regions that have a history of flooding. A low flood / risk score indicates a low risk, while a high score indicates a high risk.
